DIGI Navigators

Course Description
Digi Navigators is the second stage of NCC Education's computing program, designed for learners aged 7 to 11 (Key Stage 2 of the English national curriculum). This program builds upon foundational computing concepts, introducing students to the Python programming language to enhance their coding skills. The curriculum covers various topics, including: • Animation and graphical modeling • Computer gaming • Creating digital presentations • Web research • Networks, communication, and collaboration • Data analysis and representation • Programming simulations and physical systems These subjects aim to develop students' computational thinking, problem-solving abilities, and understanding of digital citizenship. Upon completing each course within the Digi Navigators program, students receive a certificate of achievement. After finishing all four courses, they can undertake a formal assessment leading to an internationally recognized computing qualification from NCC Education, serving as a global benchmark for their computing skills and knowledge. Aligned with the English Computing curriculum for Key Stage 2, Digi Navigators ensures a comprehensive computing education, preparing young learners for more advanced studies in the digital world.
